Speaker: Bilodid

Olga BILODID

Olga BILODID, the founder of the company "Modriz", explained how not to be afraid of relocation and not to give up. The speaker began her speech with a story about how in March 2022 their production was destroyed, so Mrs Olga decided to relocate the business, which became a new lease of life for the team.

"At first I didn't believe it was possible, but the most important thing is that the people who are the heart of the production survived, thanks to them we can continue," the spokesman stressed.

This was a difficult step, as transporting heavy equipment took a lot of time and effort, but it helped to improve production processes and find a new niche. That's how she began to make souvenirs from the remains of stones from a destroyed site in Kharkiv, which were sent to auctions, sent abroad and placed on various marketplaces.

Thanks to her resilience and ingenuity, the businesswoman has not only resumed her work, but has also reached a new level: earlier this year, the First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska, invited Olga to the Entrepreneurship Forum.

The speaker said that her credo in life helped her not to give up - "Never give up and you will see how others will give up" (Margaret Thatcher). Therefore, Ms Olga advised future entrepreneurs not to stop at what they have achieved, to move on, to try something new, to look for interesting opportunities and offers and, most importantly, to apply for grants!
