Speaker: Titarenko

Maryna TITARENKO

Marina TITARENKO, owner of the creative workshop "Strange Bird" and a speaker at the forum, talked about how to find the motivation for self-development and how to turn a hobby into a real business.

The businesswoman was born in a mining town, so she knows the fears people have at the beginning of their entrepreneurial journey. It was the desire to overcome these prejudices that prompted the speaker to open her own shop. The business developed quickly and successfully, but with the onset of a full-scale invasion, everything had to be closed and she and her daughter moved to Lviv. The first period was difficult, but Mrs Marina did not want to sit still.

The next step was to open a creative workshop. Together with her daughter, she drew and printed postcards, made mugs with prints and put together gift boxes.

"I had positive emotions from the creative process, which I wanted to share with people in such a difficult period, that's why all the drawings in our workshop convey feelings of joy, happiness and goodness," the speaker emphasized.

Ms Maryna showed from her own experience why you should not be afraid to start a business from scratch and advised young entrepreneurs to look for opportunities and try different tools to choose their own.

Implemented by the NGO "Tech StartUp School" as part of the project "Makership, innovation and entrepreneurship in the Chervonohrad coal micro-region".
