The Forum "Makership, innovation and entrepreneurship in the Chervonograd Coal-Microregion" was held!

More than 130 participants gathered around the idea of development of the Chervonograd coal-mining micro-region, and 16 cool speakers filled everyone with confidence that thanks to their perseverance and desire for development, everything planned can be achieved.

Among the main topics discussed were

Innovation, fair transformation and development of the business environment

Demonstration of the best practices of making and entrepreneurship

Business risk management

Lively discussions, brilliant reports, interesting presentations and new acquaintances left no participant indifferent!

"If everything is implemented with the kind of zeal I see today, then the importance of fair transformation in Chervonohrad will be talked about as a successful case, because we understand the general global trend of energy transformation from coal to more ecological energy sources. Moreover, the development of entrepreneurship will stimulate the development of infrastructure, education, health care and other social sectors that will improve the quality of life of the local population," commented Nazar Podolchak.

The forum is one of many activities within the project "Creation, Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the Chervonograd Coal Micro-region", implemented by the NGO "Tech StartUp School" and aimed at the development of creative and entrepreneurial activity.

"A dream, a desire and an impulse to fight, a desire to overcome difficulties and change in order to change, as Schumpeter once wrote, - this is what is needed in Chervonohrad district, Lviv region and Ukraine!" - noted Pavlo Sheremeta, economist, educator, the fourth Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine.

The speakers' stories proved that this is the key to any entrepreneur's success. Without the desire to grow and improve, it is impossible to realise your dream and give impetus to the realisation of your own potential!

"I would never have believed it if someone had told me a year ago that I would be speaking at a forum in front of such a large number of people and sharing how I turned a small idea and hobby into a successful business," said Inesa Petuhova, co-owner of ITARA - a workshop walnut.
