Miners' will, engineering mind, entrepreneurial heart—the engine of progress!

Vitaliy Dmytryshyn, winner of the Business Ideas and Startups Competition, hailing from a mining family and working in a mine, shared how he combined technical education with an entrepreneurial spirit.

The project "Amperage — reliable electrical networks in every home and dwelling" is based on years of experience and passion for his work. After completing his education and while working at the mine, Vitaliy discovered a keen interest in electrical installation work. This is where the formation of his business idea began.

How does Vitaliy plan to develop his business, and what inspires him? Read on to learn about his ambitious plans and sources of motivation!

I was born in Chervonohrad, into a family of miners. From a young age, I was fascinated by art, loved crafting, and repairing. I received my education as a mining electromechanic at Chervonohrad College and later obtained a higher education in Mining.

Immediately after my studies, I embarked on my professional career, starting as a mining electrician at the Mezhyrichanska Mine. Gaining experience, I began taking on the duties of a district electromechanic.

I developed a particular interest in electrical installation work when I independently carried out all the repair work in my own home. After that, I gained additional experience by helping friends and family set up electrical networks in their homes.

Thanks to word of mouth, new clients began approaching me with requests for electrical work. This inspired me to pursue this profession full-time and work for myself.

I have also been consistently interested in the transformation of our region, which is why I joined various events organized with the support of GIZ in our city. These events inspired me to create my business, which is extremely relevant today. Thanks to the "Makership, innovations and entrepreneurship in the Chervonohrad coal microregion" project, I have come one step closer to realizing my dream.'

We wish Vitaliy success in developing his own business and coming up with innovative ideas! We believe his story will inspire many residents of Chervonohrad to take bold steps towards a better life and a successful business!
