Opening of the free courses "Makership, innovation and entrepreneurship" in Sokal TG
The opening was attended by Head of the Department of Education, Culture, Religions and Tourism of the Chervonograd District Administration Ruslana Antonyuk, Mayor of Sokal Serhii Kasyan, Deputy Mayor of Sokal Mykola Pasko, Chief Specialist for Investments, Innovations, Development and Tourism of the Sokal City Council Maria Semenchuk, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Sokal Branch of the Savings Bank Svitlana Ksyonzhin, Director of the Sokal Vocational Lyceum Nataliya Kartashova, head of the NGO "Tech StartUp School" Nazar Podolchak, administrative assistant of the project "Craftsmanship, Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the Chervonograd Coal Micro-region" Tetyana Kulyk, trainer Nataliya Barbir and listeners of the additional course "Marketing and SMM".
The first to speak was Ruslana Antoniuk, who thanked the organisers for the initiative on behalf of Andriy Dyachenko, the head of the district.
"Each project brings development and stability to the economy of the district and the communities in particular. I would like to urge the participants not to be afraid to step out of their comfort zone, because every investment in knowledge is important. They will not be stolen, burned or destroyed, they will always be with you. When the war is over, Ukraine will need new hands, minds and incarnations. Many will want to start their own businesses, but not everyone will have the necessary knowledge and experience. Today you have the opportunity to learn something that may be useful in the future, so I sincerely wish you all success! - Mrs Ruslana emphasised.
Serhii Kasyan then emphasised the importance of developing entrepreneurial skills in connection with the transformation of the coal industry. He noted that with the emergence of new requirements and needs in the industry, the local population needs to develop and improve in various areas.
Ksyonzhik Svitlana noted that she was glad to see that small businesses continue to be supported despite the challenges of wartime, and called on all those who are willing not to miss this opportunity to learn for their future and the future of our country.
Nazar Podolchak added that the participants of the courses are people of different ages: both more experienced and those who are just starting their way to entrepreneurship but have bold ideas. "Don't be afraid to try something new, because whoever is really active and tries to achieve something will be successful. Even under difficult conditions, you can achieve good results," he added.
The opening ceremony took place at the Sokal Vocational Lyceum. The director of the institution, Nataliya Kartashova, also gave a welcome speech, stressing the importance of developing practical skills among the region's youth and adult population.
"I often remember Nazar Yuriyovich's words that only an unwise person will not take advantage of changes. Unfortunately, change is both good and bad. Ukraine is going through a difficult time, but when the war is over the country will need workers and economic development. That is why you need to learn something new now, namely production, investment, entrepreneurship, so that after the course you will be able to handle everything. I wish you success, never get tired and never stop! - Ms Natalia wished.
